All registered athletes can compete in cross country during autumn and winter. There is a Saturday and Sunday competition. You may compete in one or the other or both if you wish. It is not compulsory to run every week. Run as little or as much as you like.
We compete in all weather conditions.
SUNDAY COMPETITION
Sunday Competition. Held in conjunction with the Eastern 7' centres. All races held in various parklands around the eastern suburbs.
U/6 boys & girls 500m
U/7 & U/8 boys & girls 1000m
U/9 & U/10 boys & girls 1500m
U/11 & U/12 boys & girls 2000m
U/13 & U/16 boys & girls 3000m
Boys and girls places are recorded separately. Race order is rotated each week.
SATURDAY COMPETITION
Program run by Knox L.A.C. in various parks around the city of Knox. First event 9:00am sharp.
Final event is usually finished by 11:30am. Boys and girls compete together in the following races:

U/9 & U/10 boys & girls 1500m
U/11 & U/12 boys & girls 2000m
U/13 & U/17 boys & girls 3000m

HILLS CHALLENGE
Held at the end of the season on 8th August 2010 at cockatoo L.A.C.
Challenging cross country races against our neighbouring centres: Cockatoo Lilydale/Yarra Ranges and Pakenham. Each centres results are totalled and averaged out to determine the winner of the Hills Challenge Shield. Sherbrooke are the defending title holders.
Centre uniform and registration patch is to be worn at all cross country events.
